Links to Supplies I often use:

Unfortunately I don't receive a commission from any of the suppliers I'm listing.  Most often, I order from Dick Blick who frequently offers the best price and excellent special sales. I also order from Cheap Joe's, Jackson Art Supplies, Jerry's Artarama and independent manufacturers of handmade watercolours and tools.

Warm & Cool Pigments

This is a very brief list of primary pigments, identifying each as being either warm or cool.  The designation of warm or cool within the primary and secondary colours is determined by which of the  other primary colours it leans toward. i.e. If a yellow pigment leans more toward a blue (making it a bit greenish) it is considered to be a cool yellow.  If a yellow leans more toward a red (making it a bit more orange) it is considered to be a warm yellow.

PIGMENTS:
Cool Yellows: Cadmium Lemon. Hansa Yellows, Bismuth Yellow. Lemon Yellows. Nickel Titanate, Aurcolin
